Cute Card Thursday Challenge 57 - Getting Edgy
I had intended to enter the Whiff of Joy Challenge again this week but I was too late. I think I've spent too much time walking along the canal looking at the Moorhen chicks. They are lovely but the time passes so quickly when you are having fun!
Anyway, this card will do very niceley for Cute Card Thursday which I was intending to enter anyway. It asks for distressed, sanded or sewn edges. I've never sewn a card before so this is new for me.
The image is Willow with basket of flowers by Whiff of Joy
I used Distress Inks to colour with a touch of gel pen for the flowers
The DPs are Blue Awning by Kay & Company
I made the flowers from felt with the Cuttlebug
Brads and ribbon are from stash
The picture of the inside wasn't very good so I haven't bothered to show it this time.
Hope I'm a bit more organised next week so I can enter this challenge and the Whiff of Joy!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has left such lovely comments on my blog. I've been delighted. Kim - I haven't forgotten about my award and I will be passing it on to 8 more people.
Lynne.
